Easter Bunny Facebook Photo Sweepstakes Official Rules

NOTICE REGARDING DISPUTE RESOLUTION: These Official Rules contain terms that govern how claims between you and Sponsor (Boscov’s Department Store, LLC), relating to your participation in this Sweepstakes, will be resolved. For example, Section 10 includes an arbitration agreement and waiver of a class action that requires you to submit all claims to arbitration (instead of going to court before a judge and jury) and limits your ability to bring claims only in an individual capacity (and not as part of or on behalf of any class action or purported collective or representative claim or proceeding).

1. PRIZE DETAILS

One (1) potential winner will be selected on or around 4/8/2025 at random. The prize details are as follows:

One (1) $100 Boscov’s E-Gift Card, redeemable in-store or online at Boscovs.com.
The prize is non-transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.

2. TIMING

The Easter Bunny Facebook Photo Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) requires participants to take a photo in-store on April 5, 2025, between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT while visiting the Easter Bunner.

Entries must be posted to Facebook by April 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM EDT to qualify.
Entries submitted before or after the Sweepstakes Period will be disqualified.
The prize drawing will take place on or around 4/8/2025 at Sponsor’s offices. The winner will be announced on or around that date, subject to verification.

3. SPONSOR

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Boscov’s Department Store, LLC (4500 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606) (“Sponsor”).

4. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize in this Sweepstakes is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules and fulfilling all other requirements set forth herein.

5. ELIGIBILITY

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of CT, DE, MD, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, or WV, who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win:

Employees of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliated companies, and advertising/promotional agencies (“Released Parties”).
Immediate family members (parents, siblings) and household members of the above individuals.

Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

6. HOW TO ENTER

A. In-Store Participation & Facebook Entry:
To enter the Sweepstakes, follow these steps:

Visit any participating Boscov’s Department Store on April 6, 2025, between 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM EDT.
Take a photo while visiting the Easter Bunny.
Post the photo to your Facebook feed.
Tag Sponsor @Boscov’s and follow Boscov’s Facebook page.
Ensure your post is publicly visible (Facebook privacy settings must allow public viewing).

LIMIT: ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON.

7. PRIZE DRAWING

On or around 3/18/2025, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing among all eligible entries received. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries.

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION & VERIFICATION

The potential winner will be contacted via Facebook message or a comment on their entry post.

If contacted via a comment, the winner must respond via direct message within 72 hours to claim the prize.
The winner must provide proof of age and residence and complete the required documentation.

By participating in this Sweepstakes, you agree to the following:

(a) You confirm that you meet all eligibility requirements and agree to release the Sponsor and all associated parties (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims related to participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance/use of any prize.

(b) You grant the Sponsor permission to use your name, likeness, and any submitted content for promotional and publicity purposes in any media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Failure to return these forms or comply with deadlines will result in disqualification, and an alternate winner may be selected.

9. GENERAL TERMS

No cash alternative or prize substitution is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s sole discretion.
The winner is solely responsible for any taxes due on the prize.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found tampering with or abusing any aspect of the Sweepstakes.
If the Sweepstakes is compromised due to technology issues, non-authorized human intervention, tampering, or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control, Sponsor reserves the right to suspend, modify, or terminate the Sweepstakes.

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

ALL DISPUTES, ACTIONS, AND CLAIMS RELATING IN ANY WAY TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES WILL BE GOVERNED BY THE FEDERAL ARBITRATION ACT, FEDERAL ARBITRATION LAW, AND THE LAWS OF PENNSYLVANIA, WITHOUT REGARD TO CHOICE-OF-LAW PRINCIPLES.

Binding Arbitration:

All claims will be resolved through binding arbitration, except small claims court cases if eligible.
The arbitrator cannot consolidate multiple claims or preside over class proceedings.
You waive your right to a court trial before a judge or jury.

No Class Actions:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree:

You will not act as a class representative or in any collective legal action against Boscov’s.
Your claims cannot be joined with others in arbitration.

11. CONSTRUCTION

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is found invalid, these rules shall be construed as if that provision was not included.
